Date: December 13, 2013
Bottom-ranked Nassjo managed to get a third victory on Friday night. This time they won against fourth-ranked Solna Vikings 90-79. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-79. Nassjo looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Taylor Brown (198-89, college: Bradley, agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import point guard James Washington (182-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists for the winners. Four Nassjo players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Jim Nystrom (194-82, college: Georgia Tech) answered with 30 points and Greek center Stavros Toutziarakis (210-87) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Solna Vikings. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nassjo (3-13) moved-up to ninth place. Solna Vikings at the other side keep the fourth position with nine games lost. Nassjo are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Eco Orebro (#10) on the road in the next round. Solna Vikings will play against LF Basket (#7) and are hoping to win this game.
