Important game to mention about took place in Timisoara. Eighth ranked Craiova (7-4) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked BC Timisoara (6-6) 86-83 in the game for the seventh place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Timisoara. The guests were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 25-20 run, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great shooting night for Craiova especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. It was a good game for American guard LeVar Seals (195-82, college: De Paul) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 4 assists. The former international forward Bogdan Popescu (200-78, college: Alaska-Fairb.) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Serbian forward Vladimir Panic (194-82, agency: BeoExcell) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Bosnian point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, agency: Beo Basket) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for BC Timisoara. Four Craiova and five BC Timisoara players scored in double figures. Craiova moved-up to seventh place. BC Timisoara at the other side dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Pitesti. Craiova will play against league's leader Ploiesti at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. BC Timisoara will play against Gaz Metan (#11) in Medias and hopes to get back on the winning track.
