The game in Kerava supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked HoNsU (7-5) played at the court of 7th ranked Kerava Energia Team (3-9). HoNsU smashed Kerava Energia Team 82-52 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by HoNsU. Kerava Energia Team managed to win third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. HoNsU forced 27 Kerava Energia Team turnovers. Power forward Titta-Riina Lepisto (184-90) fired 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard Nikki Speed (173-90, college: Rutgers) chipped in 9 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Four HoNsU players scored in double figures. American forward Mollie Williams (187, college: Washington) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds and Italian-Ghanian point guard Rosetta Adzasu (165-90, college: Washington St.) added 12 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Kerava Energia Team's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for HoNsU. They maintain fourth place with 7-5 record. Kerava Energia Team lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with TuRi. HoNsU will meet at home league's leader Catz Lappeenranta in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kerava Energia Team will play against Aanekosken (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
