Regular Season Round 12: WKK Wroclaw - MKS DG 79-78

A very close game took place in Wroclaw between WKK Wroclaw and MKS DG. Seventh ranked WKK Wroclaw (7-5) got a very close home victory over one of their biggest challengers MKS DG (8-4). WKK Wroclaw managed to escape with a 1-point win 79-78 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of MKS DG. MKS DG trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 26-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-79 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Bartosz Diduszko (198-87) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds and Rafal Niesobski (189-82) who added 17 points during the contest. WKK Wroclaw's coach Pawel Turkiewicz used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Mateusz Dziemba (192-92) with 21 points and 4 assists and forward Przemyslaw Szymanski (198-84, agency: Promotex) scored 19 points. WKK Wroclaw moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Wilki Morskie and Start Lublin. Loser MKS DG dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. WKK Wroclaw will meet Stal Ostrow (#8) in the next round. MKS DG will play against Start Lublin (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
