Twelfth-ranked UCAM Murcia (4-6) made lots of trouble for second ranked Valencia Basket (9-1) on Saturday. Valencia Basket managed to secure only two-point victory 88-86. However their fans expected much easier game. UCAM Murcia cut a 18-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. Montenegrin Bojan Dubljevic (205-91, agency: Beo Basket) fired 22 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) for the winners. Ukrainian power forward Serhiy Lishchuk (210-82, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Center Augusto Cesar Lima (206-91) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and point guard Rodrigo San Miguel (186-85) added 10 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Valencia Basket have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-1 record behind leader Real Madrid. UCAM Murcia at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with six games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Valencia Basket are looking forward to face league's leader Real Madrid on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. UCAM Murcia will play against La Bruixa d'Or (#15) in Manresa and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
