Regular Season Round 11: UMKS Kielce - Tur Bielsk Pdl. 106-85

Everything went according to plan when third ranked UMKS Kielce (8-3) outleveled at home 7th ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (5-6) 106-85 on Saturday. UMKS Kielce looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Lukasz Fafara (193-84) who scored 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). point guard Hubert Makuch (180-85) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Lukasz Kuczynski (194-85) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and guard Kordian Jozwiuk (190-91) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Five UMKS Kielce and four Tur Bielsk Pdl. players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. UMKS Kielce moved-up to second place in Group C, which they share with Ksiezak Lowicz. Loser Tur Bielsk Pdl. keeps the seventh position with six games lost. UMKS Kielce will face Rosa II Radom (#4) at home in the next round. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play against Pulaski Warka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
