No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Regal FC Barcelona (7-3) smashed at home bottom-ranked Blancos de Rueda (1-9) 109-50 on Sunday. The game without a history. Regal FC Barcelona led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Blancos de Rueda to just 6 points in second and fourth quarters. Regal FC Barcelona dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Blancos de Rueda's 34. They outrebounded Blancos de Rueda 40-25 including a 32-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Regal FC Barcelona shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Blancos de Rueda's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Regal FC Barcelona made 11 blocks. Croatian center Ante Tomic (217-87, agency: XL Basketball Agency) fired 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Regal FC Barcelona will face Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (#14) in Madrid in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Blancos de Rueda will play on the road against CB Canarias (#7) in Tenerife and hope to win that game.
