A very close game took place in Orchies between Orchesien BC and Souffelweyersheim. Seventeenth ranked Orchesien BC (6-13) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Souffelweyersheim (8-11). Orchesien BC managed to escape with a 2-point win 73-71 on Sunday evening. Souffelweyersheim was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Orchesien BC maintains seventeenth place with 6-13 record. Souffelweyersheim at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Rouen and Poitiers. Orchesien BC will meet higher ranked Denain Voltaire (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
