Winner League round 11 caused change at the leadership position. Fourth defeat of league's leader Ironi Nes-Ziona (7-4) against seventh ranked Hapoel Eilat (6-5) 86-76 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Ironi Nes-Ziona. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Hapoel Eilat made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Ironi Nes-Ziona turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Forward Diamon Simpson (201-87, college: St.Mary's, CA) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Tyler Honeycutt (203-90, college: UCLA) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Ironi Nes-Ziona. Four Ironi Nes-Ziona players scored in double figures. Hapoel Eilat moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hapoel Holon and Maccabi Haifa. Newly promoted Ironi Nes-Ziona dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Maccabi T-A and Hapoel T-A. They were replaced at the leadership position by Hapoel J-M. Ironi Nes-Ziona will play next round against Maccabi Rishon trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Hapoel Eilat will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Galil Gilboa in Rosh Pina.
