The game with biggest result difference took place in Szczecin. Local Wilki Morskie (7-5) outscored 10th ranked Znicz Basket (4-8) 82-62 on Sunday night. The game without a history. Wilki Morskie led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Znicz Basket's 30. They outrebounded Znicz Basket 45-26 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Wilki Morskie looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Znicz Basket's players. The best player for the winners was center Pawel Mroz (215-84) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. point guard Marcin Flieger (182-84, agency: Promotex) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Filip Put (201-93) who recorded 11 points and Michal Aleksandrowicz (192-89) added 11 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wilki Morskie moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Start Lublin and WKK Wroclaw. Loser Znicz Basket keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. Wilki Morskie will face AZS PP (#12) in Poznan in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Znicz Basket will play at home against MCKiS Jaworz. and hope to win that game.
