No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Shinshu BW (13-5) defeated on the road 10th ranked Gunma (3-17) 91-83. The guests were already 21 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 34-21 Gunma's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 91-83 at the end of the game. Shinshu BW had a 38-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. American power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St.) notched 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Emanuel Willis (205-84, college: Houston Baptist) supported him with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Even a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds by American center Sylvester Morgan (209-83, college: Georgia St.) did not help to save the game for Gunma. Swingman Shingo Okada (186-83) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Four Gunma players scored in double figures. Shinshu BW have an impressive five-game winning streak.
