There was a minor upset in Badalona where 7th ranked Laboral Kutxa (5-5) was defeated by tenth ranked FIATC Joventut (5-5) 83-74 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 29-8 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. American-French forward Tariq Kirksay (199-79, college: Iona) fired 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. point guard Guillem Vives (192-93) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. International swingman Fernando San Emeterio (198-84) produced 13 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and Italian-Argentinian Andres Nocioni (201-79) added 12 points respectively for lost side.
