Regular Season Round 15: Foshan LL - Jiangsu D. 94-105

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when thirteenth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (6-9) won against on the road 12th ranked Foshan (6-9) 105-94 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Jiangsu Dragons. Foshan was better in fourth quarter 33-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Foshan was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American forward Marcus Haislip (208-80, college: Tennessee) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 7 rebounds. The former international swingman Da Meng (196-82) helped adding 19 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Zhi Luo (190-86) with 23 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Mingxin Ju (200-93) scored 22 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Jiangsu Dragons moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Foshan LL. Jiangsu Dragons will face higher ranked Liaoning Hunters (#8) in Yingkou in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
