The most interesting game of round 13 in the Damligan was a home defeat of 4th placed Umea (5-2) by third ranked Northland (6-1) who outscored them by 25 points 85-60 in the game for the third place. The game was mostly controlled by Northland. Umea managed to win second period 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game, while Umea only scored two points from the stripe. Serbian Dajana Butulija (176-86, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 24 points for the winners and American guard Brittany Smart (175-85, college: Cedarville) chipped in 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Umea's coach Mikael Blomqvist gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Northland have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place with 6-1 record having nine points less than leader Norrkoping. Umea at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost.
