The game between second ranked Trefl Sopot (8-2) and 8th ranked Asseco (4-7) in Sopot ended with biggest points difference. Trefl Sopot outscored guests from Gdynia 79-58. The game was mostly controlled by Trefl Sopot. Asseco was better in second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Lance Jeter (190-88, college: Nebraska) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 6 rebounds. They maintain second place with 8-2 record behind leader Stelmet ZG. Asseco at the other side dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. Trefl Sopot will play against PGE Turow (#5) in Zgorzelec in the next round. Asseco will play on the road against AZS Koszalin (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
