Liga Sorocaba (#17) forced the game against Brasilia (#11) into an overtime, but lost by one point 83-84 on Saturday night. The game took place in Sorocabana. But the guests from Brasilia were better at the end. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime then Liga Sorocaba managed to tie the game at the end of regular time. However that was Brasilia who were better in overtime eventually winning that period 11-10. They also forced 23 Liga Sorocaba turnovers. Liga Sorocaba lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Brasilia will meet at home Espirito Santo (#16) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Liga Sorocaba will play against Paulistano in Sao Paolo and hope to secure a win.
