Regular Season Round 14: Kerava - Huima 60-90

The game in Kerava supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Aanekosken (5-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Kerava Energia Team (3-10). Aanekosken smashed Kerava Energia Team 90-60 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Aanekosken. Kerava Energia Team managed to win third quarter 21-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aanekosken forced 25 Kerava Energia Team turnovers and had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. American swingman Lonniya Bragg (182-79, college: Arkansas) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Sanna Jamsen (183-79) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Aanekosken players scored in double figures. American forward Mollie Williams (187, college: Washington) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and forward Rosa Pakarinen (172-91) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aanekosken maintains fifth position with 5-6 record. Kerava Energia Team lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with ten games lost. Aanekosken will meet league's leader Catz Lappeenranta on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kerava Energia Team will play against TuRi (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
