The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked Toyota B SR's (4-9) home victory over 10th ranked Hitachi Cougars (2-11) 63-54. Toyota B SR moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Niigata and Aishin AW. Hitachi Cougars lost fourth consecutive game. Hitachi Cougars at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the tenth position with 11 games lost. Toyota B SR's next round opponent will be higher ranked Fujitsu RW (#5) in Kawasaki and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hitachi Cougars will play on the road against Denso Iris (#4) in Kariya and hope to win that game.
