Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Bari (1-12) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Treviglio (6-7) 72-64 on Sunday. Bari trailed by 13 points at halftime and as many as 15 after three quarters before a 25-18 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 64-72 at the end of the game. Treviglio dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Bari's 22. Treviglio forced 20 Bari turnovers and outrebounded them 41-29 including 26 on the defensive glass. The former international center Emanuele Rossi (206-82) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and forward Francesco Ihedioha (196-86) chipped in 16 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Armando Iannone (187-90) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Diego Monaldi (184-93, agency: Players Group) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Treviglio moved-up to tenth place, which they share with P.Mantovana and Roseto. Bari lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Treviglio will face Recanati (#15) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bari will play against the league's leader Naturhouse Ferrara having rather not much hope for a victory.
