Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Napoli Basket and 10th ranked FCM Ferentino had identical 5-7 record. But FCM Ferentino was not able to use a home court advantage and was rolled over by the opponent from Napoli 88-67. The game without a history. Napoli Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. The former international forward Simone Pierich (200-81) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and American swingman Rodney Green (196-88, college: La Salle) added 19 points respectively for FCM Ferentino in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Napoli Basket. They moved-up to tenth place. FCM Ferentino at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. Napoli Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Sigma Barcellona (#8) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. FCM Ferentino will play against Novipiu Casale and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
