Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked JL Bourg (13-7) beat at home 6th ranked Fos Ouest (12-9) 79-74 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Fos Ouest won fourth quarter 17-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fos Ouest was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward John Flowers (200-89, college: W.Virginia, agency: KMG Sports Management) stepped up and scored 19 points for the winners and his fellow American import guard O'Darien Bassett (189-86, college: Troy) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists.
