Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Tuscany Pistoia and 13th ranked Sutor Montegranaro had identical 4-7 record. But Sutor Montegranaro was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Pistoia 93-87 on Thursday night. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 57-48 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best for the losing side was American guard Josh Mayo (182-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists and Canadian-Bosnian guard Nemanja Mitrovic (197-90, college: Portland) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Tuscany Pistoia maintains twelfth position with 5-7 record, which they share with Cimberio VA. Loser Sutor Montegranaro dropped to the fourteenth place with eight games lost. Tuscany Pistoia will face higher ranked Lottomatica Roma (#3) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sutor Montegranaro will play against Cantu (#5) and hope to win that game.
