Rather predictable result when third ranked Melbourne Tigers (8-6) won against at home bottom-ranked Wollongong Hawks (4-9) 74-67 on Friday. Wollongong Hawks were trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 20-9 charge of Melbourne Tigers, which allowed them to win the game. The former international guard Chris Goulding (192-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points. Forward Lucas Walker (202-84, college: St.Mary's, CA) contributed with 9 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. American guard Rotnei Clarke (183-89, college: Butler) answered with 16 points and the former international forward Oscar Forman (205-82) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Wollongong Hawks.
