Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Olympique Antibes (2-12) was edged at home by ninth ranked Sluc Nancy (8-6) 69-66 on Friday. American point guard Clevin Hannah (180-87, college: Wichita St., agency: Court Side) scored 15 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Austin Nichols (200-82, college: Humboldt St.) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. American guard Willie Solomon (187-78, college: Clemson) responded with 19 points and Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points and 4 steals. Sluc Nancy moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Chalon. Olympique Antibes lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Sluc Nancy will face Cholet Basket (#13) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Olympique Antibes will play against STB Le Havre and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
