Everything went according to plan in Thessaloniki where tenth ranked Aris (5-6) beat 13th ranked Ikaros (3-8) 84-67 on Saturday. The game without a history. Aris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was Ioannis Athineou (194-88) who scored 28 points and 4 assists. point guard Eleftherios Bochoridis (193-94) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Aris' coach used entire bench saving starting five for next games. U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican forward Ivan Aska (200-90, college: Murray St.) produced 23 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
