There was no surprise when 9th ranked Lighthouse TR (7-7) was outleveled on the road by first ranked Trento (11-3) 82-61 on Saturday. The game without a history. Trento led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American guard Brandon Triche (193-91, college: Syracuse) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Trento's coach Maurizio Buscaglia felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international power forward Andrea Renzi (209-89, agency: Players Group) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Luca Ianes (203-80) added 9 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Lighthouse TR. Trento maintains first position with 11-3 record. Newly promoted Lighthouse TR keeps the ninth place with seven games lost. Trento will face Angelico Biella (#5) on the road in the next round. Lighthouse TR will play against the league's second-placed PMS Torino (#2) and hope to win that game.
