Extraliga top team - Inter Bratislava (16-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Iskra Svit (11-8) 90-84. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Iskra Svit. Inter Bratislava made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Iskra Svit 40-24 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Iskra Svit was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Justin Graham (193-88, college: San Jose St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Czech center Ondrej Starosta (215-79) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American guard Wesley Channels (190-88, college: Austin Peay St.) with 33 points (!!!), 6 assists and 6 steals and the other American import center Tyronne McNeal (211-87, college: Miami Dade CC) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Five Inter Bratislava and four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-3 record. Iskra Svit at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Inter Bratislava will play against Rieker KN (#3) in Komarno in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Iskra Svit will play at home against Nova Ves and hopes to get back on the winning track.
