We should not miss the game where eighth ranked Osaka Evessa (9-14) against 4th placed Hamamatsu Phoenix (12-11) where Osaka Evessa won at home by fifteen points 76-61. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Osaka Evessa's pressure prevailed and they won that period 27-14 extending their advantage to 15 points. Osaka Evessa outrebounded Hamamatsu Phoenix 41-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. American players dominated also this game. point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and center Dillion Sneed (203-84, college: E.Tenn.St.) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Jermaine Dixon (191-87, college: Pittsburgh) came up with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Ray Nixon (203-84, college: Wisconsin) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Hamamatsu Phoenix in the defeat. Osaka Evessa moved-up to seventh place. Hamamatsu Phoenix at the other side dropped to the third position with 11 games lost. Osaka Evessa's next round opponent will be again higher ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (#4) in Mikawa and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
