Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Treviglio (7-7) outscored at home 15th ranked Recanati (5-9) 83-60 on Sunday. The game without a history. Treviglio led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Treviglio forced 22 Recanati turnovers. The former international center Emanuele Rossi (206-82) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian guard Bojan Krstovic (194-80, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Treviglio players scored in double figures. Treviglio's coach Adriano Vertemati felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Matteo Fantinelli (195-93) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and American swingman Sean Mosley (192-89, college: Maryland) scored 9 points. Treviglio moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Recanati dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Reggio Calabr. and Firenze. Treviglio will meet Barese (#9) on the road in the next round. Recanati will play against Ravenna (#3) and hope to secure a win.
