Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (12-8) defeated 15th ranked Jilin Tigers (6-14) in Changchun 114-108 on Wednesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Jilin Tigers won third quarter 28-27. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. point guard Jonathan Gibson (188-87, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Three Eye Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Chris Johnson (210-85, college: LSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' coach Fei Wang allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Denzel Bowles (208-89, college: JMU) replied with 32 points and 8 rebounds and forward Leon Rodgers (201-80, college: N.Illinois) added 26 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Jilin Tigers. Five Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and four Jilin Tigers players scored in double figures. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Loser Jilin Tigers keep the fifteenth position with 14 games lost.
