Leader Halcones Rojos delivered the twentieth second victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Fuerza Regia (13-10) 96-74 in Veracruz. The game was mostly controlled by Halcones Rojos. Fuerza Regia managed to win third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Halcones Rojos. They maintain first place with 22-5 record. Loser Fuerza Regia keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Halcones Rojos will meet at home Toros (#5) in the next round. Fuerza Regia will play against Halcones UV Xalapa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
