Top ranked CB Guadalajara (9-3) recorded its third loss on the court of eighth ranked Marin on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Marin 57-49. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of CB Guadalajara. CB Guadalajara was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Point guard Manuel Ferreiro (186-90) fired 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Joseba Aramburu (205-81) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Eduardo Guillen (201-88) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and center Javier Medori (201-93) added 4 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Marin (6-6) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Avila and Palma. CB Guadalajara at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Fuenlabrada and Prat. Marin is looking forward to face Zornotza (#12) in Amorebieta-Echano in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. CB Guadalajara will play on the road against Azpeitia (#11) and is hoping to win this game.
