Regular Season Round 27: Bambitious Nara - Shiga L-Stars 75-69

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Shiga L-Stars (12-14) were defeated on the road by ninth ranked Bambitious Nara (6-18) 75-69 on Saturday. Shiga L-Stars trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 18-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 69-75 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for American guard Joe Chapman (193-84, college: Marquette, agency: I.D.S. Law) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Adrian Moss (203-81, college: Florida) helped adding 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Panamanian forward Dionisio Gomez Camargo (203-80, college: Arkansas) with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Marshall Brown (199-85, college: Missouri) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Bambitious Nara maintains ninth place with 6-18 record. Loser Shiga L-Stars keep the sixth position with 14 games lost. Bambitious Nara will face league's second-placed Kyoto Hannar. at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
