Very expected game when 10th ranked Pays d'Aix (4-7) lost to third ranked Pau Lacq Orthez (9-2) in Les Milles 65-71 on Saturday. Pays d'Aix was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of Pau Lacq Orthez, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for naturalized Senegalese forward Mariame Dia (185-78) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. point guard Ingrid Bunel (174-87) contributed with 18 points and 6 assists for the winners. American forward Shenita Landry (188-87, college: Temple, agency: Two Points) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and forward Kelly Corre (180-91) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Pays d'Aix. Pau Lacq Orthez have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-2 record having just two points less than leader COB Calais.
