Regular Season Round 21: Liaoning H. - Foshan LL 115-93

Rather expected game in Yingkou where 13th ranked Foshan (8-13) was crushed by tenth ranked Liaoning Hunters (11-10) 115-93. The game was mostly controlled by Liaoning Hunters. Foshan was better in second period 28-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Liaoning Hunters shot 62.0 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Liaoning Hunters players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Foshan's players. It was a good game for American forward Hakim Warrick (204-82, college: Syracuse) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 6 rebounds. The former international center XiaoXu Li (206-90) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American guard Thomas Young (191-87, college: Indiana, PA) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Mingxin Ju (200-93) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Foshan. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Foshan's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Liaoning Hunters moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Zhejiang CB and Fujian QB. Foshan lost their third game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Liaoning Hunters' next round opponent will be Sichuan BW (#14) on the road which should be theoretically another easy game. Foshan will play against Jilin Tigers and hope to win that game.
