There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Armani Milano (9-5) beat one of their biggest challengers Banco di Srd (9-5) in Sassari 75-69 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-69. Armani Milano dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Banco di Srd's 32. American Keith Langford (193-83, college: Kansas) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 rebounds. The former international guard Daniel Hackett (199-87, college: USC, agency: Two Points) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
