Bottom-ranked Vanoli Cremona managed to get a third victory, breaking the seven-game losing streak. This time they won against tenth-ranked Juvecaserta 69-64. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-13. But Juvecaserta won second period 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Vanoli Cremona won last quarter 19-15. American guard Jason Rich (191-86) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized American guard Jarrius Jackson (183-85, college: Texas Tech) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Vanoli Cremona (3-11) moved-up to fifteenth place. Juvecaserta at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Cimberio VA and Giorgo Tesi PT. Vanoli Cremona will play against higher ranked Sutor Montegranaro (#14) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Juvecaserta will play against Tuscany Pistoia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
