Regular Season Round 22: Shandong FB - DongGuan L. 112-98

There was a surprise result in Jinan where eleventh ranked Shandong Bulls (11-11) won against higher ranked DongGuan Leopards (14-8) 112-98 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Shandong Bulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 34-of-38 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. DongGuan Leopards were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Ukrainian point guard Pooh Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) fired 32 points (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) for the winners. American power forward Donnell Harvey (203-80, college: Florida) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Shandong Bulls' coach XiaoBin Gong used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Donte Greene (206-88, college: Syracuse) produced 27 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Shandong Bulls moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Liaoning H. and Zhejiang CB. DongGuan Leopards at the other side dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. Shandong Bulls will face Foshan (#13) at home in the next round. DongGuan Leopards will play against Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#11) in Hangzhou and hope to win that game.
