The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Rieker KN's (13-7) home victory over 5th ranked Iskra Svit (12-9) 86-64 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Rieker KN led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Strangely Iskra Svit outrebounded Rieker KN 43-27 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Iskra Svit was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Kenny Hall (206-90, college: Tennessee, agency: Three Eye Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Center Tyrone McNeal (213-85) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and forward Lakeem Jackson (196-89, college: S.Carolina) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Iskra Svit's coach David Solomon gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Rieker KN maintains fourth place with 13-7 record. Iskra Svit at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. Rieker KN will face higher ranked Prievidza (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
