Rather predictable result in Antigonish, NS where second ranked Huskies (7-2) defeated 4th ranked X-Men (5-4) 96-82 on Friday. The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-82. Huskies looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Marquis Clayton (178) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists and forward Theeon Reefer (198) who added 23 points during the contest. At the losing side point guard William Donkoh (185) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jordan Clarke (188) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Huskies maintains second position with 7-2 record having four points less than leader McGill. Loser X-Men keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Huskies will face Panthers (#5) in Charlottetown, PEI in the next round.
