Date: January 10, 2014
Rather predictable result in Lulea where seventh ranked LF Basket (9-12) defeated 9th ranked Nassjo (4-17) 103-85. Nassjo was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. LF Basket made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for LF Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Nassjo was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international swingman Christopher Ryan (196-90) notched 22 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American point guard Keith McLeod (190-79, college: Bowling Green) supported him with 17 points and 5 assists. Five LF Basket players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds by American forward Taylor Brown (198-89, college: Bradley, agency: Three Eye Sports) did not help to save the game for Nassjo. Serbian Aleksa Solevic (-93) added 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the guests. LF Basket maintains seventh position with 9-12 record. Nassjo at the other side keeps the ninth place with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
