Regular Season Round 28: Fukuoka Rizing - Shimane SM 91-82

Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Fukuoka Rizing (11-15) beat at home 10th ranked Shimane Magic (5-21) 91-82 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 59-42 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Fukuoka Rizing looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import swingman Seth Tarver (196-88, college: Oregon St.) who added 16 points during the contest. Five Fukuoka Rizing players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Jeral Davis (216-84) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Edward Yamamoto (173-86) scored 12 points and 9 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fukuoka Rizing maintains seventh position with 11-15 record. Shimane Magic lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 21 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
