Everything went according to plan when second ranked Valencia Basket (13-2) outscored at home 6th ranked CB Canarias (8-6) 92-67. The game was mostly controlled by Valencia Basket. CB Canarias was better in fourth quarter 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Valencia Basket forced 21 CB Canarias turnovers. It was a good game for Montenegrin Bojan Dubljevic (205-91, agency: Beo Basket) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. point guard Pau Ribas (193-87) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Valencia Basket players scored in double figures. Montenegrin center Blagota Sekulic (209-82) answered with 11 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Joan Carles Bivia (185-85) added 8 points in the effort for CB Canarias. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Valencia Basket. They maintain second place with 13-2 record having just two points less than leader Real Madrid.
