An interesting game for Prievidza (15-6) which played road game in Komarno against one of their biggest challengers Rieker KN (13-8). Third ranked Prievidza managed to get a 13-point victory 82-69. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian power forward Drazen Klaric (204-80) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and British swingman Paul Guede (195-87, college: Portland St., agency: Interperformances) who added 13 points during the contest. Four Prievidza players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian guard Juevol Myles (185-89, college: S.Dakota) with 19 points and 7 assists and American forward Kenny Hall (206-90, college: Tennessee, agency: Three Eye Sports) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Prievidza have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 15-6 record having just three points less than leader Inter Bratislava. Rieker KN at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Prievidza will play against Iskra Svit (#5) at home in the next round. Rieker KN will play against the league's second-placed Nitra in Nitra and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
