Regular Season Round 16: La Rochelle - Blois 58-56

Fifteenth-ranked ADA Blois (5-11) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked La Rochelle (10-5) on Saturday. La Rochelle managed to secure only two-point victory 58-56. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning two of next three quarters and won the game by 2 points. Guard Faycal Sahraoui (188-79) fired 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Jarryd Cole (204-88, college: Iowa) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian power forward Arminas Urbutis (205-86, college: Hofstra) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and swingman Florian Thibedore (193-90) added 8 points respectively for lost side. La Rochelle moved-up to fifth place. Loser ADA Blois dropped to the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. La Rochelle will face Rueil (#9) on the road in the next round. ADA Blois will play against Sorgues BC (#6) and hope to win that game.
