An exciting game was played in Lulea. KFUM Blackebergs faced BG Lulea. Guests from Vallingby (2-0) smashed host BG Lulea (0-1) 80-52. The game was mostly controlled by KFUM Blackebergs. BG Lulea was better in fourth quarter 21-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFUM Blackebergs dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to BG Lulea's 26. KFUM Blackebergs forced 23 BG Lulea turnovers. Guard Tim Schuberg (188-95) fired 19 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals for the winners. BG Lulea's coach Dennis Pihl gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. KFUM Blackebergs will face Taby Basket on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BG Lulea will play against Orongo Dragons in Sundsvall and hope to win that game.
