The game in Sorgues was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Saint Chamond (10-6) played at the court of seventh ranked Sorgues BC (10-6). Sorgues BC defeated Saint Chamond 81-66. The game was mostly controlled by Sorgues BC. Saint Chamond was better in fourth quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sorgues BC dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Saint Chamond's 28. Sorgues BC forced 19 Saint Chamond turnovers and outrebounded them 32-20 including 22 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by American forward Aaron Broussard (195-90, college: Seattle) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and American-British power forward Tafari Toney (203-86) supported him with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Five Sorgues BC players scored in double figures. Even 23 points (made all of his eight free throws) by Lithuanian swingman Mantas Ruikis (194-85) did not help to save the game for Saint Chamond. Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (203-88) added 15 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for lost side. Sorgues BC moved-up to sixth place, which they share with St Chamond. Sorgues BC's next round opponent will be ADA Blois (#15) on the road and are hoping to win another game.
