Regular Season Round 14: Stabill Jezioro - Asseco 63-66

A very interesting game took place in Tarnobrzeg. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 10th ranked Stabill Jezioro (3-11) to ninth ranked Asseco (6-8) 66-63 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was point guard Sebastian Kowalczyk (188-93) who scored 13 points. The former international forward Piotr Szczotka (196-81, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Nicchaeus Doaks (201-87, college: Chattanooga, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (203-90, college: Oklahoma) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Asseco moved-up to eighth place, which they share with AZS Koszalin. Stabill Jezioro lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 11 games lost. Asseco's next round opponent will be Polpharma (#11) in Starogard. Stabill Jezioro will play on the road against PGE Turow in Zgorzelec and hope to win that game.
