Regular Season Round 15: Le Havre - Antibes 76-80

Bottom-ranked Olympique Antibes managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of three consecutive loses on Saturday night. This time newly promoted Olympique Antibes won against fifteenth-ranked STB Le Havre 80-76. STB Le Havre was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 25-20 charge of Olympique Antibes, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for American forward Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Larry O'Bannon (194-83, college: Louisville, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 20 points. The best for the losing side was Hugo Invernizzi (198-93) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Wiliam Hatcher (188-84, college: Miami, OH) scored 13 points and 8 assists. Five STB Le Havre players scored in double figures. Olympique Antibes (3-12) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Le Havre. Olympique Antibes will meet at home higher ranked Entente Orleans 45 (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. STB Le Havre will play against Paris-Levallois (#7) and hope to secure a win.
