Regular Season Round 29: Bambitious Nara - Kyoto Hannar. 51-65

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Kyoto Hannar. (18-10) beat on the road 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (6-20) 65-51 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Kyoto Hannar.. Bambitious Nara managed to win fourth quarter 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Bambitious Nara to just 4 points in third quarter. They outrebounded Bambitious Nara 48-25 including a 24-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. American center Chris Holm (212-84, college: Vermont) nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds for the winning side and Puerto Rican-American swingman Edwin Ubiles (198-86, college: Siena) accounted for 17 points. Kyoto Hannar.'s coach Honoo Hamaguchi used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St., agency: KMG Sports Management) came up with 13 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Tatsuya Suzuki (169-91) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for Bambitious Nara in the defeat. Kyoto Hannar. maintains second place with 18-10 record behind leader Akita NH. Loser Bambitious Nara keeps the ninth position with 20 games lost. They share it with Gunma. Kyoto Hannar. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bambitious Nara will play against Saitama Broncos (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
